What support do you provide?

We provide support workers and mentors to assist with social activities, household tasks, respite/short-term accommodation, along with a wide range of other services. We can tailor a plan/package to suit each individual client’s needs.

What hours are available?

Days and hours vary depending on each client’s requirements. We will work with you to try and come up with a plan that best suits you and/or your family.

Do you have minimum shift durations?

Alchemy Services have a minimum shift length of two hours for most of our supports, however, we may be able to reduce this depending on your individual circumstances.

How much do you charge for services?

We charge up to the benchmark prices approved by the NDIS, which are listed on the NDIS price guide. You can also contact us to request a copy of our Fee Schedule.

How do I go about using your services?

If I decide to use your services, will you provide me with a Service Agreement?

Yes, we will provide you with a Service Agreement which provides you with all the information you require for using our services and sets out the agreement between the client and Alchemy Services.

Can I make changes to the support required after signing the Service Agreement?

Yes changes to the timing, frequency and types of support can be made at any time with sufficient notice.

What happens if I need to cancel my services?

We understand that sometimes things change, so we are flexible with our services. We require a minimum of 24hrs notice for most services. If less than 24hrs notice is provided, we may still charge you, or charge you a portion of the service fee.

If I am Agency-managed, can I still use your services?

At this point in time, we can only provide support services to those who are Plan-managed and/or Self-managed.

I am currently with another Provider; can I use your services too?

Yes, one of the core values of the NDIS is to give you the choice and control over which providers you use and what supports you choose from them. The choice is completely yours.

What types of support does NDIS funding cover?

The NDIS funding supports three types of budgets, such as, core supports, capacity building supports and capital supports. Refer to your NDIS plan to ascertain which supports you are eligible for.
