Maybe you are studying teaching, youth work, social work or similar and are interested in some part-time work to build your knowledge and experience. Perhaps you are looking for a career change and feel you have the personality, passion and openness to authentically support another to see their amazingness.

Successful candidates will potentially:

• Understand the importance of and utilise effective connection and communication skills.
• Be willing to be flexible to meet the need of the client in the moment.
• Effectively and safely support clients to link to their passion in the areas of gardening, handyman skills, cooking & fishing.
• Be coachable and have an interest in ongoing development of self and mentoring skills.
• Experience is desired but not essential. The right personality and skill set for the particular clients are of most importance.

If you are chosen to join the Alchemy Team, you will be required to have the following, or be willing to obtain.

Essential prior to being rostered on shifts with Alchemy Services:

• Australian Business Number (ABN)
• Professional Indemnity & Public Liability Insurance
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence
• Comprehensive Motor Vehicle Insurance & reliable registered vehicle
• National Police Clearance
• Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module (free online training)

To be obtained within two months of commencing with Alchemy Services:

• First Aid Certificate (including CPR)
• ChildSafe Training (online training)
