No. Having an NDIS plan does not automatically mean every service, activity or cost can be claimed from your plan.
An NDIS-funded support needs to meet the requirements that apply to the participant and the support being provided. This includes being related to the person's disability support needs and goals and being an NDIS support.
If you are unsure, your plan manager, Support Coordinator or the NDIA can help clarify how your funding may be used.
A good working relationship matters.
Matching can consider the person's goals, interests, communication preferences, support needs and the type of relationship that may feel comfortable and useful.
The aim is respectful and reliable support rather than treating matching as one-size-fits-all.
Yes, where the participant wants this and appropriate consent is in place.
