Grow
the Change.
Different ways to learn. Different ways to grow.
Alchemy Kids in Murray Bridge is a place for children and young people to belong, discover what they're good at, build confidence and develop real-world skills through experiences that matter to them.
You don't need to become someone else to grow.
At Alchemy Kids, we start with the person, not a checklist.
Then we build from there.
More than activities.
Opportunities to grow.
Alchemy Kids uses interests, relationships and real-life experiences to create opportunities for confidence, capability and meaningful participation.
A place to be you.
Feel welcomed, accepted and part of something without needing to earn your place.
Your voice matters.
Have a say in what you do, what you work towards and how you are supported.
Start with what lights you up.
Interests can become doorways to learning, relationships and growing confidence.
Learn by doing.
Build practical capability through experiences that mean something in everyday life.
Find your people.
Develop relationships, participate in community life and discover places where you belong.
Small steps become big changes.
Try something new, recognise progress and discover more of what you can do.
Different stages.
Different opportunities.
Age gives us a starting point. The person, their interests, communication and preferred peer group help us understand what actually fits.
Explore. Play.
Discover.
A flexible pathway built around curiosity, interests, communication, connection, confidence and everyday participation.
Discover who
you are becoming.
More independence, more voice and more opportunity to explore relationships, community and what might come next.
Less classroom.
More real life.
Alchemy Kids uses meaningful activities and everyday experiences as opportunities to practise, connect, make choices and build practical capability.
Plan it. Shop for it. Make it. Share it.
Create. Problem-solve. Make mistakes. Try again.
Explore. Move. Discover something new.
Art, music, craft, technology or whatever sparks interest.
Discover activities and places where connection can grow.
Take the next achievable step with someone beside you.
Start where
you are.
Alchemy Kids can bring together individual, small-group and community experiences in ways that respond to the young person, what they want to work towards and what feels achievable.
Start with me.
Build trust, discover strengths and work towards something personally meaningful through consistent one-to-one support.
Find my people.
Explore shared interests and experiences with the right group, clear expectations and the right amount of support.
Take it into real life.
Use growing confidence and capability in everyday community activities, relationships and places.
Belonging creates the conditions for growth.
It starts with human connection, genuine understanding, no judgement and full acceptance.
We create spaces where young people do not have to earn their place or become somebody different before they belong.
When a young person feels understood, accepted and connected, new possibilities for growth can emerge.
What lights
you up?
We don't see interests as rewards.
We see them as places to begin.
The things a young person already enjoys can become pathways into communication, confidence, practical skills, relationships, learning and participation.
You know
your child.
You know the small things others may not see.
The interests, patterns, strengths, communication, routines and things that can make everyday life easier or harder.
That knowledge matters.
Alchemy Kids works alongside children and young people and the people who know them, bringing together family knowledge with the young person's own voice, choices and growing independence.
One program.
More than one way in.
Alchemy Kids is being developed so children and young people can participate through different funding pathways, while the heart of the program stays the same.
Individually appropriate support.
NDIS funding may be relevant where the support relates to the participant's disability, goals, plan and applicable NDIS requirements.
Participation beyond an NDIS plan.
Families may also choose to access Alchemy Kids privately, without participation being defined by an NDIS plan.
Partnerships and opportunities.
Some activities may also be offered through community partnerships, grants, sponsored places or other funded opportunities.
One community.
Many roles. Shared direction.
Alchemy Kids is part of a broader program family being developed around children, families, mentors and educators.
